counting the days. . .

i am in boxing hell. yes, you read that correctly. i am surrounded by boxes. all shapes and sizes. big ones, little ones. some plastic ones but mostly cardboard ones. Almost every single one of them is full.

not a single one of them has a stamp in it. *sigh*

one of them has the other half of my spice rack. another one has all the tablespoons (maybe even the same one; at this point, who knows?) i did manage to find the dvds (N-R) and CD's, and just today, found the hiking gear.

This is a good thing. Because in exactly 9 days, i'm going Wako. Yes, i am. Even if Bubs beats me with snakes (although if he does, he knows what will happen. . .)

Wakeda Pics To Whet Your Appetite

I spent Friday afternoon over at Wakeda walking the grounds and taking pictures, starting to plan what will go where, answer a few of my own questions and get more in to the zen of the event.  I will also, hopefully, be meeting with Amanda from Wakeda on Monday to ask more questions and do some more planning.  So after tomorrow I'll have even more info for you, but until I post again, here are some pics for you to look at, to make sure you stay focused on the more important things in life, like attending this event!  ;)

The Strength Of A City

Yesterday we went to Boston, which is about an hour's drive for us, to pick up BB3's cousin, who was in Boston since Tuesday attending a medical conference.  He goes back to Houston, TX on Monday, and is staying with us for the weekend.  But we also had planned on spending the day in Boston, and the most important thing on the agenda was visiting the memorial for those fallen and injured in the bomb blasts on the day of the marathon, which was April 15th.

Greenland's One Year Rememberance

Today Greenland, NH is holding a memorial service for the one year anniversary of the shooting death of police chief Michael Maloney.  It was a sad time for the town and he is greatly missed.  Since I wrote about it last year, I thought I'd just make a small post about what is going on today.  Here are some links you can follow if you'd like to read about it.  Thanks!

Sometimes, tiggers are stressed.

i need to go to Disney World. i just thought i would put that out there. sometimes, ya just need to go descend into the fantasy and forget the world exists. Unfortunately, that ain't happening any time soon.

"Why, what is up with the tigs? whatever could possibly be going on???" oh, just moving, AGAIN -although hopefully this is for the last time. And, into a house with no chain smokers living below me so that i can open the windows and ENJOY the fact that i live in the South now where it's balmy and beautiful.
