Sometimes, tiggers are stressed.

i need to go to Disney World. i just thought i would put that out there. sometimes, ya just need to go descend into the fantasy and forget the world exists. Unfortunately, that ain't happening any time soon.

"Why, what is up with the tigs? whatever could possibly be going on???" oh, just moving, AGAIN -although hopefully this is for the last time. And, into a house with no chain smokers living below me so that i can open the windows and ENJOY the fact that i live in the South now where it's balmy and beautiful.

And trying new things in all kinds of places. Like work. i'm developing my practice and frankly, i hate hate HATE promoting myself. *sigh* Feels like painting a big bulls-eye on your chest to be shot at. Nope, don't like it at all. Really uncomfortable.

Then, there's the LTC's i'm making. Stepping waaaaaay outside my comfort zone and playing with all kinds of weirdness, like embossing tools and spray inks and . . . and . . . and you guys really make it look easy, ya know that? now i'm wishing i had driven down to Palmer, MA more often to go play with nosox and her classes. *sigh*

OK, what i really need to do is go hike something. And find some tupperware. that would calm me down.

And for listening to me whine, here's more cool pictures of Alaska:

a beluga whale statue. they play here, in the Arm. we didn't see any. . . but we saw some plastic. . .at Bird Point.

Turnigan Arm again, from the top of the Hotel Alyeska, in Girdwood. This was taken at 10:30 at night

Mile Zero on the Iditarod Trail, in Seward. MUSH!
That's Mount Marathon. i think it needs a letterbox, eh? People run up and down it in 45 min. No, thank you.

Kenai Fjords National Park. There are all kinds of birds on that rock. However, i don't have any good pictures of the thousands of puffins, gulls, kites, et all we saw. You need to go see them yourself. Puffins look like footballs with wings when they fly.

i think this is Humboldt Glacier. not sure. It's HUGE, which you can't really tell from the picture.

aren't they adorable. this was in the SeaLife Museum.
                                                   BYE FOR NOW!!!

  1. Aww...hugs! Moving will be over in several weeks. Your practice will grow. Let us go to Disney to play. Let us go to Marion to hike and box. Let us put a smile back on that face! BTW, that last picture is so cute. 8^D

  2. Moving sucks - and despite that I've moved way too many times since starting letterboxing. Take some deep breaths and it'll be over soon. Just don't pack your letterboxing gear at the bottom of a box that is impossible to get to...
